FLIGHTS: Each player and/or parent is responsible for flights. Area airports are Palm Springs, Ontario (CA), Los Angeles, Long Beach, Las Vegas and San Diego. From my experience in 2006 arriving and departing - I wish I had booked my flights in and out of San Diego - mileage may 'appear' longer but traffic is MUCH lighter and would have saved us several hours. The decision is yours. If you wish to send your player with another family - feel free to use <please don't abuse the email list> the email list for your inquiries. Arrival must be on TUESDAY (in time to make the 10:30pm meeting in the lobby of our hotel) - departure late Saturday (medals are generally handed out around 4pm after the team's last game ) or after...  There will be a team breakfast on Wednesday morning at 8am, a practice at 10am and Team Dinner on Wednesday 5pm.

ON-SITE TRANSPORTATION: TEAM Transportation will not be provided.  Please make arrangements with another attending parent or with Lauren to get transportation to and from hotel/field.  If you are flying alone, please let Lauren know by Sept. 7th practice.

USFHA CARD: If you have not provided us with a COPY OF the Player's current/valid USFHA membership CARD (we need an actual COPY
OF THE CARD !!) please bring it with you to practice. It will not be returned so ensure it is a copy for us to keep.  This must be supplied on or before September 15th.  After this time your name and info may not appear on the US Field Hockey roster or in the WCU Media Booklet.

J).  Sarah Worley and Nancy Ramsdell are heading this charge.  Flyers were sent home at first practice, YOU need to sell tickets to this event !!.

WCU is running a clinic for grades 1-8 starting Sept. 20th for 8 weeks at Worcester State College.  We are asking for PLAYER help to coach/run this clinic.  More details to follow at practice.  PLEASE CONTACT anyone with ounger children and PUSH THIS CLINIC!  Your participation in this will look GREAT on your college bio/resume!

Remember - practicing hard and playing hard you will achieve your 'GOALS' !! Don't let yourself down, don't let your TEAM down.
